Heeeey y’all! Thanks so much for visiting my blog! I figured I’d kick things off with a post about none other than myself. Since I’ll be the author of most all content, I think it’s important that you get to know me and my vision for Cordially, Keryn.
Who I am: If you didn’t gather it by now, I’m Keryn! I’m in my mid-twenties and having been married for four-years and recently becoming a mother, I feel I’m in a healthy place to share my heart and life with others. I was raised in a religious household with both of my parents and my four older siblings. I’ve lived in the same town my entire life with no urge to move. Professionally I was a Kitchen Designer for five years before scaling back to be a stay-at-home mom! I’m not a “girly-girl,” but I love all things feminine and delicate. I’m down-to-earth and have an easy time seeing the bright side in life. I’m not really an expert at anything, but I love a lot of things like cooking, decorating, painting, and being overall creative! My favorite game is Spades and I played every single day until I had my son… priorities, am I right? In the past seven-years I have gained a beautiful testimony of how God constantly worked in my life to bring me back to Him. I certainly took the “long way” to get back to my roots, but I am so thankful for where I am in life today.
My hope for this blog is to bring together a like-minded group of people. I want to speak into the lives of those who need it and give myself a greater opportunity to hear from others. While recipes and fashion are both topics I enjoy, I’m really looking forward to diving deeper into my faith, and hopefully your’s, when it is applied to real life. It’s important that I note I am not trying to change anyone’s minds with my beliefs or opinions. If you find you don’t agree with my point of view or my life’s experiences please do not feel threatened or offended. We have all been created with unique gifts and tools to utilize them. I truly believe one of my gifts is writing and the tool I’m choosing to use is writing based from my life. I want to cultivate a group of like-mindedness because there is simply too much disagreement going on in the world today. If you don’t like, agree, or believe in what I have to share and can’t respect me – I would ask that you simply don’t follow instead of starting arguments or disagreements. If you truly have a question about what I’m sharing, I would love to discuss it. I’m open for friendly conversations, but please hear me out: my life is too short for social media madness!
